Each weekday morning in the aa computing lab's main space and back teaching room are booked for two-hour software and computing courses. In the foreground that's Joel Newman from AA/AV and one of the teachers in this autumn's Media Studies Courses--working at one of the lab's G5's on a digital video project.

Today's presentation by brett is the last of this term's 'Post-digital' open seminar series by Mark Cousins and Brett Steele. Today's topic focused upon the 20th century's genealogy of 'pre-digital' architectures; projects from Mies and Lecorbusier to Utzon, Team X and others that establish a legacy of distributed, parametric, iterative or serial projects whose sensibilities and working methods anticipate more recent topics in contemporary 'digital' architectural practise.
